Before eBay, I built retail systems at Walmart and financial software at Deutsche Bank. Along the way, I created BiotechMine and other learning products that connect my background in life sciences with my love of technology.

Reduced end-to-end latency from 48s to 10–11s by redesigning sequential flows for parallel execution with virtual threads, improving throughput for CPU-intensive stages.
Owned onboarding and stabilization of a US-built event-driven platform using Java 21, Spring Boot, and Kafka. Led knowledge transfer, identified critical defects, and ensured production readiness.
Introduced shadow mode during system handover to validate behavior without affecting production, and resolved a critical production bug through development, testing, and deployment within a day.
Drove an organization-wide data processing optimization initiative with Senior Distinguished and Principal Engineers, reducing batch runtime for 500K records from 9h to 1h 20m through Spark partitioning and parallel processing from GCS to BigQuery.
Enabled sandbox testing by onboarding Kafka topics, Spring Boot services, and PostgreSQL and Cassandra datastores into internal sandbox environments, accelerating safe experimentation.
